Dr. Wayne Scheidemann has proudly served the Lakeport, CA community for more than 35 years as a trusted orthopedic surgeon. Throughout his career, he has cared for thousands of patients, many of whom struggled with excess weight that affected their mobility, joint health, and ability to maintain an active lifestyle.
Through years of treating these patients, Dr. Scheidemann saw firsthand how weight-related challenges can impact overall health, recovery, and quality of life. This experience sparked his interest in medical weight loss as a way to help patients improve outcomes beyond orthopedic care alone.
Today, Dr. Scheidemann brings his decades of medical expertise to our local Lakeport weight loss clinic, where he now offers compounded GLP-1 medications under medical supervision. His goal is to help patients achieve sustainable weight loss, improve mobility, and support long-term health through safe, evidence-based treatment.

Urmila "Joi" Sandhu is an Integrative Medicine Health Coach and a Functional Medicine Practitioner. This branch of medicine is patient-centered and helps to identify the relationship between our diet, environment, and physical activity along with our physical and mental well being. Joi is a licensed Physician Assistant and has extensive experience in family practice and general medicine. She is passionate about supporting people to live fulfilled, resilient, and healthy lives. We are more than a simple clinic and pharmacy, we want to make weight loss a part of our client's achieving a healthier and more active lifestyle. We are here to support you! Joi will be in the Ukiah and Lakeport Offices alternative weeks beginning in March 2021.
